DataSnipper

Excel-native audit automation. Powerful for auditors, but locked to Excel and expensive per seat.

Our Verdict

DataSnipper is purpose-built for auditors working in Excel — document matching, cross-referencing, and workpaper automation. Within that niche, it's excellent. But the per-user pricing is steep, it's completely locked to Excel, and it's not a general-purpose extraction tool.
